As an Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of inventory control, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and optimization of stock levels. You will play a key role in streamlining operations, minimizing losses, and implementing innovative practices to improve both inventory and sales performance within the Consumer Electronics or related sector.
Inventory Management & Control:
- Oversee the full inventory cycle — receiving, storage, distribution, and returns.
- Ensure accurate, real-time stock records and conduct regular audits.
- Apply effective stock control methods (FIFO, stock rotation) and manage slow-moving or excess items.
Demand Planning & Forecasting:
- Collaborate with procurement and sales to forecast demand and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Analyze trends to prevent stockouts or overstocking and support purchase planning.
Sales & Innovation in Inventory Operations:
- Implement innovative solutions to improve sales visibility and stock efficiency.
- Work with sales to align inventory with product performance and introduce automation or ERP enhancements.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Coordinate with logistics, sales, finance, and warehouse teams for seamless stock movement and reporting.
- Ensure consistency between physical inventory, system data, and financial records.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and review reports on stock movement, aging, and accuracy.
- Track key KPIs to monitor inventory turnover, efficiency, and losses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations (preferably in Consumer Electronics).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Hands-on experience with MS Dynamics ERP or similar inventory management systems is preferred.
