Inventory Controller

Job brief

We are in search for a meticulous Inventory Controller with an experience in a steel manufacturing industry. The role requires the candidate to coordinate orders and deliveries, perform inventory audit and analysis and ensures stock level from raw materials to finished goods is maintained consistently.

Moreover, the candidate should be highly organized and have detailed knowledge of supply chain management software and practices and possess excellent logistical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain daily production reports
• Prepare and maintain daily dispatch reports
• Prepare and maintain daily stock that includes raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods
• Prepare daily sales report of customers that includes daily average price
• Prepare and maintain summary of all items being produced and sold
• Prepare and maintain raw material arrival report
• Managing inventory and production cost via ERP System
• Prepare and monitor material return report from customer
• Develop and implement inventory control systems and practices
• Coordinate with logistics for purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, and processing
• Perform regular stock checks and reporting any issues to the management
• Prepare daily attendance record of factory workers including overtime.
• Prepare and maintain all ISO related documents

Requirements and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar preferred
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail, warehousing, logistics, or similar
• Basic knowledge in Accounts
• Excellent knowledge of inventory management software
• Exceptional understanding of inventory management practices and analysis
• Good analytical and logistical thinking abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Note: Candidates with experience in steel manufacturing will be shortlisted.
