We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Controller cum Procurement professional to manage end-to-end inventory control and purchasing operations for our F&B business. The role is critical in ensuring optimal stock levels, cost control, vendor coordination, and smooth supply chain operations across kitchen and outlet functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Control
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly inventory for food, beverages, and non-food items
- Conduct regular stock counts and variance analysis
- Investigate and report discrepancies, wastage, pilferage, and over-portioning
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices and proper storage standards
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the system
- Coordinate with kitchen and operations teams to control food cost
Procurement
- Raise and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders
- Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers to ensure best pricing and quality
- Ensure timely procurement aligned with production and operational needs
- Track supplier performance (price, quality, delivery timelines)
- Maintain approved supplier lists and contracts
- Coordinate with finance for GRNs, invoicing, and payment follow-ups
Reporting
- Prepare inventory and procurement reports (usage, variances, slow-moving items)
Compliance & Coordination
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company SOPs
- Work closely with kitchen, store, finance, and operations teams
- Support audits and internal controls as required
Requirements
- Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in F&B inventory control and procurement
- Experience in restaurants, cloud kitchens, hotels, or catering preferred
- Strong knowledge of food costing, inventory systems, and procurement processes
- Proficient in MS Excel and inventory/ERP systems
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-concept environment
