Job Summary:

The Inventory Controller is responsible for managing and monitoring stock levels, ensuring inventory accuracy, minimizing discrepancies, and supporting smooth warehouse and marketplace operations. The role focuses on stock reconciliation, reporting, and coordination with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy across all locations.
  • Conduct regular physical counts and cycle counts.
  • Reconcile system inventory with physical stock and investigate discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements (inbound, outbound, returns, damages).
  • Coordinate with warehouse team to ensure proper stock handling and storage.
  • Track slow-moving and fast-moving items and provide reports to management.
  • Monitor reorder levels and notify procurement team when replenishment is needed.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
  • Ensure compliance with internal inventory control procedures.
  • Support audits and provide required inventory documentation.
  • Work closely with e-commerce/marketplace team to ensure stock availability alignment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP / WMS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
