Simply Gum is a New York-based confections brand. We are looking for an Inventory Coordinator at our production center in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual who pays close attention to detail.

Position Summary

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing all daily inventory movement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. This role ensures that the production floor has the materials needed to run efficiently while maintaining real-time accuracy in inventory systems. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily flow of inventory to the production floor based on production needs.
• Maintain accurate records of all inventory movement throughout the shift.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all inventory release requests from the production team.
• Conduct end-of-day counts of raw materials and finished goods and update the ERP system with accurate information.
• Take full ownership of inventory control processes for the production floor.
• Follow FIFO inventory management method
• Work with the production team on setting up correct inventory for the release for the upcoming shifts.
• Provide support and assistance to the factory as needed.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience handling inventory in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Experience managing inventory in a high-volume, multi-SKU environment (required).
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving production setting.
