POSITION PURPOSE:
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory levels through routine cycle counts, physical audits, RF scanning, and research within the Warehouse Management System (WMS). The Inventory Coordinator identifies discrepancies, initiates corrective actions, and supports overall inventory integrity to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform regular inventory cycle counts and audits to verify product accuracy and location.
  • Identify and report inventory discrepancies to the supervisor and assist with root-cause analysis.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in accordance with company SOPs.
  • Document and process Returned Material Authorizations (RMAs).
  • Evaluate damaged products daily/weekly and report trends related to vendor or operational issues.
  • Support maintenance and enforcement of inventory control policies and SOPs.
  • Partner with the supervisor to address non-conforming product (NCR) and quality issues.
  • Conduct product quality inspections, including verification of date-sensitive products and coordination of expired product removal.
  • Ensure proper rotation of inventory through adherence to first in, first out (FIFO) practices.
  • Assist with general warehouse support tasks as needed to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience with a focus on cycle counting or inventory control.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and meet physical demands of warehouse work.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or similar inventory systems preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
