Job Details

What You’ll Do
Own FBA Inbound Reconciliation
Lead reconciliation of inventory moving from internal warehouse operations to Amazon FBA, including:
WMS outbound shipment records
Shipment / box-level contents
Carrier tracking and validation
Amazon receiving events
Variance identification and resolution tracking
Identify where units fall out of the chain of custody — including packing errors, carrier loss, labeling issues, receiving delays, or Amazon discrepancies.
Amazon Inventory Ledger Analysis

Analyze FBA ledger events including:
Receipts
Adjustments
Returns
Removals
Disposals

Translate Amazon reason codes into financial impact and operational root causes.
Exception Management & Investigation

Build and manage a structured exception queue covering:
Inbound shipment shortages
Misplaced vs found inventory
Damaged units
Removal discrepancies
Aged unresolved variances

Drive resolution and reimbursement opportunities.
Root Cause & Operational Controls

Identify recurring breakdowns and partner with:
Warehouse leadership
Operations
Accounting
Engineering
to implement stronger inventory controls and variance reduction processes.

Executive Reporting

Develop dashboards and reporting for Finance and Operations leadership showing:
Unreconciled inventory units
Dollar exposure
Variance root causes
Aging discrepancies
Recovery opportunities
Trend analysis by carrier, warehouse process, or Amazon event type

Required Experience
3+ years of Amazon FBA inventory reconciliation or inventory control
Experience reconciling internal operational data vs Amazon reports or ledger data
Strong understanding of FBA inbound shipments, receiving behavior, returns, removals, and adjustments
Technical Skills
Strong SQL querying large operational datasets
Advanced Excel (Power Query, complex lookups, pivots)
Ability to design repeatable reconciliation workflows and exception tracking
