Inventory Executive (Retail)

Responsibilities

• Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills with a keen sensitivity to data.
• Ensure sufficient stock levels and maintain optimal inventory across all store locations.
• Track and monitor inventory turnover rates for each store.
• Conduct analysis on best-selling and slow-moving products in the stores.
• Manage and coordinate inter-store stock transfers.
• Maintain appropriate safety stock levels at both the stores and the distribution center.
• Develop replenishment strategies based on historical and current trend analysis to maximize sales, improve inventory turnover, and enhance gross margins.
• Stay aligned with current market trends and future business plans to adjust inventory and ordering strategies in collaboration with field and regional teams.
• Perform statistical analysis of sales rankings for both top-performing and underperforming products to forecast demand and guide supply planning.
• Oversee the issuance of daily replenishment orders, product planning, assortment coordination, and follow-ups.
• Analyze sales and inventory data to optimize inventory structure and effectively allocate product resources.
• Support marketing and promotional activities by ensuring full product availability in stores.
• Create and implement inventory reduction plans to maintain efficient inventory control.
• Apply supply chain strategies to enhance sales performance and inventory efficiency for each product.
• Contribute to meetings by providing relevant insights and updates related to replenishment planning

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years experience as a Merchandiser/Allocator in the Retail industry.
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel - VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Nested IFS).
• Product and market knowledge relevant to the area of responsibility.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
