Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of inventory management, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase orders to replenish inventory as needed.
- Conduct regular and cycle stock audits to identify and correct discrepancies.
- Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, logistics, and sales teams to ensure smooth inventory flow.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and reduce excess and obsolete stock.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies regarding storage and handling of goods.
- Develop and implement strategies for inventory optimization and cost control.
- Prepare and present inventory reports to management on a regular basis.
- Train and supervise warehouse or inventory staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Zoho Inventory).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
