Job Title: Inventory Manager – FMCGJob Purpose:
The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing inventory management processes to ensure the right stock is available at the right time, minimize shortages and excess, and support smooth supply chain operations in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective inventory control systems, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly stock levels to ensure accuracy and availability across warehouses, distribution centers, and retail outlets.
- Forecast demand in collaboration with sales, procurement, and production teams to align inventory levels with market trends and promotions.
- Track and analyze inventory KPIs (stock turnover, shrinkage, fill rate, aging, etc.) to optimize stock performance.
- Ensure timely replenishment of goods while minimizing holding costs and stock-outs.
- Oversee regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation of variances.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics to manage lead times and delivery schedules.
- Implement technology (ERP, WMS, or other inventory systems) for accurate stock visibility and reporting.
- Identify and mitigate risks such as obsolete, expired, or slow-moving stock.
- Train and supervise warehouse/inventory staff to follow best practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and FMCG industry regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in inventory management (preferably in FMCG or retail).
- Familiarity with demand forecasting, procurement, and warehouse operations.
- Certifications in supply chain or inventory management (e.g., APICS, CPIM, CSCP) are an added advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
