We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize our inventory operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and smooth day-to-day store management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily inventory operations across all departments.
- Maintain accurate stock levels through regular audits, cycle counts, and system updates.
- Monitor product movement and analyze trends to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Coordinate with suppliers and the procurement team to manage deliveries and resolve discrepancies.
- Implement effective inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Generate inventory reports and present insights to management.
- Supervise inventory staff and provide training to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with store and warehouse teams to streamline processes and reduce waste.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Inventory Manager, Inventory Controller, or similar role (retail/grocery experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of inventory control systems, stock management, and supply chain principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Excel.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not mandatory with equivalent experience).
