Experience & Background:
- 8–10 years of experience in inventory management in the foodstuff/FMCG sector.
- Experience in managing multi-temperature storage: Ambient, Chiller, and Frozen.
- Proven expertise in FIFO/FEFO, batch, and expiry management.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Certifications in Inventory Control and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) are a plus.
Functional Skills:
- Strong understanding of inventory control processes, stock accuracy, and reconciliation.
- Hands-on experience with WMS and ERP platforms.
- Skilled in conducting cycle counts, stock audits, and root cause analysis.
Food Safety & Compliance:
- Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and UAE municipality regulations.
- Experience handling expiry-sensitive stock and maintaining cold chain standards.
Analytical & Operational Skills:
- Proficient in inventory forecasting, shrinkage control, and space optimization.
- Ability to quickly identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Monitoring KPIs such as stock turnover, order accuracy, and wastage control.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and coordination with warehouse, procurement, and sales teams.
- Effective team leadership and time management skills.
