Inventory Planning Senior Specialist

Job Purpose

To manage inventory planning and ensure optimal stock levels across warehouses and stores, maintaining product availability, minimizing stock-outs, and optimizing inventory flow from distribution centers to stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and monitor inventory levels across all warehouses and stores.

  • Coordinate stock transfers between distribution centers to balance inventory and meet store requirements.

  • Develop and execute replenishment plans from DC to stores to ensure availability while minimizing overstock.

  • Monitor inventory KPIs, including stock coverage, days of inventory (DOH), and turnover rates.

  • Analyze inventory trends, identify risks, and propose corrective actions to prevent shortages or excess stock.

  • Collaborate with supply chain and store operations teams to ensure smooth inventory flow.

  • Maintain accurate planning data and support continuous improvement initiatives within inventory planning processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.

  • 3–6 years of experience in inventory planning, warehouse operations, or retail logistics.

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; experience with planning or ERP systems preferred.

  • Understanding of inventory optimization, replenishment, and allocation principles.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
