Overview
To manage inventory planning and ensure optimal stock levels across warehouses and stores, maintaining product availability, minimizing stock-outs, and optimizing inventory flow from distribution centers to stores.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor inventory levels across all warehouses and stores.
- Coordinate stock transfers between distribution centers to balance inventory and meet store requirements.
- Develop and execute replenishment plans from DC to stores to ensure availability while minimizing overstock.
- Monitor inventory KPIs, including stock coverage, days of inventory (DOH), and turnover rates.
- Analyze inventory trends, identify risks, and propose corrective actions to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Collaborate with supply chain and store operations teams to ensure smooth inventory flow.
- Maintain accurate planning data and support continuous improvement initiatives within inventory planning processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in inventory planning, warehouse operations, or retail logistics.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; experience with planning or ERP systems preferred.
- Understanding of inventory optimization, replenishment, and allocation principles.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
