Overview

We a national leader in the design and manufacturing of custom trailers, priding ourselves on delivering high-quality, innovative solutions across a wide range of industries such as custom lavatory, laundry and bottle filling trailers that are used at festivals, events, construction sites, and emergency disaster locations. We are seeking to add an Inventory Procurement Specialist to our rapidly expanding team at our manufacturing/office facility in Latrobe, PA.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be highly organized and efficient with excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Follow up with vendors on open purchase orders and discrepancies on incoming shipment receipts.
  • Monitor changes with vendors and request updated lead times affecting internal supply and demand.
  • Support the shipping and receiving team with incoming shipments and process inventory receipts, reports and tracking/order spreadsheets.
  • Customer service, parts orders and follow up.
  • Schedule and track logistics/freight shipments.
  • Issue and track employee tool issuance and inventory
  • Support the office team with answering customer service and vendor phone calls.

Skills

  • Proven experience in customer service, inventory and/or vendor relations
  • Excellent attention to detail skills with ability to multi-task
  • Ability to manage and meet deadlines
  • Organizational skills and accurate record keeping
  • Able to communicate proficiently
  • Solid decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, OneDrive and QuickBooks

Qualificiations

  • 3-4 years of prior experience in Shipping & Receiving, Procurement, Logistics or Supply Chain
  • Administrative support and or Customer Service related background
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) a plus

Office hours are Monday - Friday, from 8:30am - 5:00pm.

Pay rate is dependent on multiple factors that account for experience, skillset, knowledge and statistical data based on location. Employees are eligible for benefits and 401(k) with match following 90 days of employment.
