Inventory & Repair Coordinator

Overview:

The Inventory & Repair Coordinator will report to the VP of Procurement and Materials and assist Vista America in maintaining accuracy within its owned inventory as well as manage repairs through various vendor programs. This role supports the timely return of high-volume cores to OEMs and various vendors. Identify high failure rate items and assist in monitoring those issues to a solution. Coordination of repairs and warranty application as necessary.


Responsibilites:

  • Process high volume of core returns to appropriate vendors.
  • Ensure accurate completion of core return documents, reports and spreadsheets.
  • Monitor closed AC work orders to ensure that all stock used is allocated to the correct aircraft.
  • Monitor closed AC work orders to identify removed components that need to be returned to vendors as cores or company owned assets that need to be repaired.
  • Monitor open repair orders and follow up with vendors for status until completion.
  • Provide weekly updates for repair status of all company owned assets.
  • Interface with Quality Assurance to ensure all parts are accounted for correct processes have been followed.
  • Interface with representatives of our maintenance service providers to manage lost assets or find missing information as needed for core returns.
  • Coordinate efforts with Buyers and all depts as needed.
  • Ensure inventory integrity between a mixed fleet of aircraft.
  • Assist in identifying high use parts and locations to stock for future use.
Additionally, this role will:
  • Participate and travel to and perform onsite visits to vendors managing Vista America inventory.
  • Lead special inventory projects for other departments for MELs and fleet campaigns.
  • Support Maintenance Buyers on day-to-day operations.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • GED or High School Diploma
  • Understand maintenance programs such as JSSI and MSP
  • Corporate aircraft or airline parts and repair processing experience
  • Detail oriented, with excellent organizational and task management skills
  • Must be computer literate with experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Project. Experience with CAMP, GV, or other maintenance specific applications highly desirable
  • Must be clear and concise in verbal and written communications
  • Must be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively coordinate with multiple departments in fluid operational environment
Preferred Qualificiations:
  • 3-5 Experience in component repairs and management
  • 2+ Business or Commerical Aviation experience.
  • CAMP preferred, other inventory management software.
