Job Summary
We are looking for an inventory specialists part and full time . 6 months + experience is required.
Duties
- Receiving & Processing Products: Securely receive, unpack, sort, and inspect all incoming product shipments. This includes verifying quantities against invoices and purchase orders, ensuring all required test results are present, and properly tagging and labeling products according to state and local regulations.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain meticulous records in state-required electronic tracking systems (e.g., METRC) and internal Point of Sale (POS) systems (e.g., Blaze POS, Flowhub). Ensure all inventory processes adhere to federal, state, and local cannabis laws and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Storage & Organization: Organize and maintain the security, cleanliness, and climate control of storage areas and the main vault. Implement stock rotation practices, such as first-in, first-out (FIFO), to optimize product freshness and efficiency.
- Stocking & Order Fulfillment: Ensure the sales floor is consistently stocked and organized. Fulfill online and pickup orders in a timely manner and prepare products for transfer or delivery.
Skills
- Experience: Previous experience in inventory management or a highly regulated environment is typically required, with 6 months-3 years of cannabis-specific inventory or compliance experience is required.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of inventory control principles, state-specific cannabis regulations (e.g., CCC regulations in Massachusetts), and industry software like METRC and various POS systems.
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
