Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our Teton Leather team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, optimizing warehouse distribution processes, and ensuring seamless procurement and stock management.

Your expertise in data analytics, category management, and supply chain management will drive efficiency and accuracy across our operations.

We are a rapidly growing leather shop, we utilize the best leathers in the world and need a driven quick learner that can jump in and keep all these moving parts in order.

We also work 4/10s so you will always have Friday, Saturday, Sunday off.

Duties

  • Oversee inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to source materials, negotiate contracts, and optimize pricing models for cost savings.
  • Manage warehouse distribution activities including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and materials handling with safety compliance.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by analyzing current workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing best practices for stocking and materials management.
  • Assist in demand planning and production scheduling by analyzing data
  • Maintain supplier relationships through effective communication and sourcing strategies to ensure timely procurement of goods.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in supply chain management, warehouse distribution, or inventory control roles with a strong understanding of logistics operations.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes including negotiation, sourcing, and contract management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and financial modeling related to inventory and supply chain performance.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stock counting, materials handling, and order fulfillment procedures.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments including merchandising, retail management, and logistics partners.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
