Inventory Specialist

Public insurance adjusting firm looking for a full-time Contents Estimator for our Rochester, New York office. The individual would be responsible for completing residential and commercial inventory for insurance claims due to loss from fire, water, etc.

National Fire Adjustment Co., Inc. (NFA) is a family-owned company founded in 1922. NFA employs over 50 people and has offices in Upstate New York, NYC, Pennsylvania, Toronto, and Florida. Our job is to maximize the insurance recovery for property damage due to fire, water, wind, and other perils. The Rochester office is a team of 11 employees working in a comfortable environment in the suburb of Brighton. Many of us have happily been with the organization for 30 years.

Responsibilities:

· Take photos of damaged contents

· Inventory and prepare a list of all damaged contents

· Research and determine prices with owners/clients to present a claim to the insurance company

Requirements:

· Must have own transportation and clean driver’s license

· Able and willing to travel

· Physical demands of job include working in all weather conditions and the ability to stand, walk, climb, and crouch when necessary.

Excellent compensation package includes starting base salary of $50K (depending on experience). Health, Dental, FSA, and 401K available. Car allowance reimbursement. Gas reimbursement.
