Position Overview

We're hiring a detail-driven Inventory Specialist to manage parts, raw materials, and finished goods across our automotive garage and manufacturing floor. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and understands automotive components — especially exhaust system parts, tubing, flanges, mufflers, clamps, and related hardware.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, count, and properly stock all incoming inventory including raw stainless steel, aluminized tubing, mufflers, tips, hangers, and hardware
• Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software (QuickBooks, Fishbowl, or similar)
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
• Pull, kit, and stage parts for production runs and shop work orders
• Track raw material usage and notify management when reorder points are reached
• Organize the warehouse, parts room, and shop floor for efficient workflow and FIFO rotation
• Coordinate with purchasing, production, and shipping teams to ensure parts availability
• Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and report shrinkage or damage
• Maintain a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant inventory area
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and occasional production support as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• 2+ years of inventory, warehouse, or parts management experience (automotive industry strongly preferred)
• Working knowledge of automotive exhaust components and aftermarket parts is a major plus
• Proficiency with inventory software, barcode scanners, and Microsoft Excel
• Strong math, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
