Inventory Storeroom Clerk

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Inventory- Store Room Clerk for a Maintenance position to contribute to our continued success. The Inventory- Storeroom Clerk will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely availability of materials, and supporting efficient operations within our industrial facility.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming materials, parts, and supplies.
• Verify quantities and qualities received against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Properly label and store items in designated locations within the storeroom.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems or manual logs.
• Process requisitions and distribute materials to production or maintenance departments as per requests.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventories to reconcile discrepancies.
• Create bin locations and labels for new inventory items.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies for handling hazardous materials or equipment.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the storeroom and associated storage areas.

Requirements:

• 1-2 yrs. of previous warehouse house experience required.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts. (Days and nights and Every other weekend)
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Inventory, data entry, and computer skills required.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for periods of time as well as stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season.
• Good communication, organizational, and time management skills are required.
• Must be dependable and reliable.
