Inventory Team Lead Materials Management - LGH/Full Time Days

The Materials Management Inventory Lead is responsible for the direct leadership and assignment of daily tasks for inventory integrity and operational efficiency while partnering with operational leadership to ensure the proper execution of inventory related best practices. He/She will ensure accurate inventory levels, security and excellent Customer Service representation for the department.


Required Education: High School Diploma / GED

Preferred Education: Associates Degree highly preferred; Three to five (3 - 5) years of warehouse operations or inventory experience


Leads workflow processes required to move product through the supply chain to all participating hospitals/departments/CMG’s with a strong, working knowledge of systems to maintain accuracy. Works directly w/Ops leadership on warehouse inventory level changes/additions. Leads weekly Cycle count process/prepares reports and yearend inventory. Verifies activities of receiving/distribution of materials received. Performs responsibilities in a professional manner w/emphasis on good interpersonal relations. Facilitates problem resolution for customers. Communicates efficiently w/assigned departments/vendors. Uses available technology to maximize efficiency. Maintains compliance w/departmental, organizational policies and procedures. Responsible for the security of the distribution center by arm/disarm functions when backing up a supervisor. Managing and maintaining approx. $15 million in inventory. Ensure appropriate inventory acumen/business concepts are utilized to manage inventory. Manage/maintain the movement of goods IN/OUT of the facility within proper budgeted ranges. Leads and delegates activities to properly maintain good inventory integrity.
