Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts, and optimizing supply chain processes. This position requires strong analytical skills and experience in warehouse management to support our operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock audits to ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with supply chain management to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and optimize storage solutions.
• Assist in purchasing activities, including sourcing suppliers and negotiating contracts for materials.
• Conduct root cause analysis for discrepancies in inventory levels and implement process improvements.
• Support logistics operations by coordinating shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely order fulfillment.
• Analyze data related to inventory turnover, stock levels, and supplier performance using tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Participate in category management initiatives to enhance product assortment and pricing strategies.
• Perform heavy lifting as required during stocking and materials handling tasks.

Skills

• Strong background in supply chain management, including procurement and logistics.
• Proficiency in data analysis skills with experience in data mining, visualization, and analytics tools (e.g., SQL, AS400).
• Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes, inventory control techniques, and financial analysis related to inventory management.
• Experience with MRP systems, ERP systems, and 3PL operations is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of merchandising principles, demand planning, and supplier management practices.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective process improvements within the warehouse environment.
