Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Investigating Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations, gathering and analyzing evidence, and preparing detailed reports. This role requires a high level of integrity, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and work on leads on infringement of client brands

· Develop and nurture a dependable informer network

  • Conduct comprehensive investigations into various cases, including but not limited to brand protection, fraud and misconduct.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret evidence from multiple sources.
  • Interview witnesses and suspects to obtain relevant information.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate investigation reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments and external agencies as necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in investigation procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate or higher degree from any stream
  • Proven experience in conducting investigations, preferably in brand protection
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously and work as a team player.
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.
  • Proficiency in using investigation tools and software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree or certification in a related field.
  • Experience with digital forensics and cybersecurity investigations will have an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.

Other Requirements:

· Must own a two-wheeler in good condition
