About the Position
This is entry-level professional inspectional and investigative work designed to evaluate, prepare, process, and defend complaints/cases of criminal, unfair, deceptive practices, and violations of County, State, and Federal laws administered by the agency to which assigned. Incumbents are responsible for generating accurate, complete, and comprehensive information required to investigate complaints or to prepare cases for judicial action/consideration. This position requires the performance of the duties normally contemplated for this class under the general supervision of a higher-level professional. Primary responsibilities include investigative work enforcing discrimination laws and policies in accordance with Title VII, Title VIII, Title I of ADA, ADEA, Division 12 of the Prince George’s County Code, and other applicable laws and statutes.
