Role: Investment Analyst - M&A / Corporate Finance

Role overview:
The position involves financial analysis, valuation, due diligence support, and assisting in the execution of investment transactions.
The M&A Analyst will play a key role in evaluating potential acquisitions, joint ventures, and greenfield investments. The role will also support ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies and help generate insights for strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Investment Evaluation
- Review and evaluate investment proposals across different industries and geographies.
- Assess strategic fit, business assumptions, and financial feasibility of potential investments.
Financial Analysis and Modelling
- Analyze historical financial data and business performance.
- Build and interpret financial models to evaluate investment opportunities.
- Support preparation of financial projections and scenario analysis.
Valuation
- Conduct preliminary valuation analysis using methodologies such as: Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Comparable company analysis, Comparable transaction analysis, etc.
Transaction Support
- Assist in the execution of M&A transactions and investment deals.
- Support coordination of due diligence with internal teams and external advisors.
Research and Market Analysis
- Conduct industry and market research to support investment decisions.
- Track sector trends and competitive dynamics.
Investment Materials
- Prepare investment presentations, reports, and information memoranda for internal decision-making.
Portfolio Monitoring
- Track performance of portfolio companies and identify key operational and financial drivers.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- CFA (completed or in progress), MBA, or MSc in Finance preferred
- Proven experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Investment Banking (or)
- Private Equity (or)
- Mergers & Acquisitions (or)
- Corporate Finance (or)
- Deal / Transaction Advisory (or)
- Management Consulting (transaction or corporate finance exposure)
Technical skills:
- Financial modelling and valuation
- Financial statement analysis
- Transaction analysis and due diligence
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Other Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to synthesize complex financial information
- Strong research and presentation skills

Pay: AED16,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
