Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Associate to join our GP Stakes investment team. This role offers the opportunity to work on strategic minority investments in leading private market firms globally. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in M&A and secondary fund investing, with a focus on LP-led transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the evaluation and execution of GP Stakes investments, including due diligence, financial modeling, and market analysis.
• Conduct deep analysis of target firms’ performance, strategy, and alignment with Lunate’s investment criteria.
• Prepare investment committee materials and presentations.
• Collaborate with internal teams across private markets to assess strategic fit and synergies.
• Monitor portfolio companies and assist in ongoing performance tracking and reporting.
• Engage with external advisors, legal counsel, and consultants during transaction processes.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of M&A experience at a leading investment bank or advisory boutique.
• 1–2 years of experience at a Secondary Fund-of-Funds (FoF), with a focus on LP-led deals.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Passion for private markets and long-term investing.
