Job Overview:
The Investment Officer will support the family office’s investment team in sourcing, analyzing, and executing investment opportunities across various asset classes. The role will involve detailed financial analysis, due diligence, portfolio management, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of investment strategies. Key Responsibilities:

Investment Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and financial analysis across private equity, real estate, public markets, and alternative investments. Support the evaluation of potential opportunities, focusing on risk-return profiles, market trends, and competitive positioning.

Due Diligence & Deal Execution: Assist in the due diligence process, including financial modeling, valuation, and preparation of investment memos. Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure seamless execution of deals.

Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting: Track the performance of existing investments and provide regular updates on key metrics, including portfolio valuations, financial reporting, and risk assessments. Assist in preparing quarterly and annual performance reports.

Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with the investment team, external advisors, and service providers (custodians, administrators, brokers) to ensure efficient operations and the successful implementation of investment strategies.

ESG & Sustainability Focus: Support the family office’s commitment to sustainable and responsible investing by identifying and promoting ESG-compliant investment opportunities.

Process Improvement: Assist in optimizing investment processes, improving reporting efficiency, and minimizing operational risk.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; CFA/CAIA or progress towards these designations is a plus.

2-4 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, asset management, or a related field.

Advance level skills on Excel & financial modelling.

Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Familiarity with investment platforms such as Pitchbook, Bloomberg, or similar tools is advantageous.
