Investment Officer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Investment Officer to support the management and growth of a diversified private investment portfolio. The role involves monitoring existing investments, evaluating new opportunities, conducting financial analysis, and providing strategic recommendations to optimize returns and manage risk.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a private investor across multiple sectors including private companies, equities, and real estate.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze the performance of existing investments across various sectors.
• Prepare regular reports on portfolio performance, financial metrics, and risk exposure.
• Conduct financial analysis and preliminary feasibility studies for potential investments.
• Identify and research new investment opportunities and market trends.
• Assist in structuring and evaluating investment deals and partnerships.
• Coordinate with accountants, legal advisors, and external consultants regarding financial and investment matters.
• Maintain organized records of investment documentation, agreements, and financial reports.
• Provide strategic recommendations to improve portfolio performance and diversification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in investment analysis, financial analysis, corporate finance, or related roles.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Good understanding of financial markets, private investments, and real estate investments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or similar credentials are an advantage.
