The Investment & Retail Growth Manager will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing potential investors to support the company’s retail expansion, including new garment retail outlets, shop-in-shop models, and large-scale business growth initiatives.
The role requires strong investment acquisition skills, market analysis expertise, and the ability to build strategic partnerships that accelerate the company’s retail footprint.
Key Responsibilities
Investor Acquisition & Funding
- Identify, approach, and engage potential investors, partners, and funding institutions.
- Present investment proposals, business plans, and ROI models to prospective investors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with private investors, family offices, and investment groups.
- Prepare financial projections and investment decks for retail expansion projects.
- Negotiate investment terms aligned with company growth goals.
Retail Expansion & Growth
- Identify new retail locations, shop-in-shop opportunities, and garment store expansion prospects.
- Conduct feasibility studies, demographic analysis, and market research for new outlets.
- Collaborate with retail operations and finance teams to finalize expansion plans.
- Support the rollout and opening of new stores, ensuring alignment with growth strategy.
Market Research & Business Strategy
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and investment market behavior.
- Develop strategies to strengthen the company’s retail presence and brand visibility.
- Prepare periodic reports on investor pipeline, retail growth opportunities, and project status.
Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with landlords, mall management, developers, and retail partners.
- Maintain long-term communication with existing investors and strategic partners.
- Represent the company at investment forums, exhibitions, and business networking platforms.
Skills & QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA (Finance/Marketing) preferred.
Experience
- 3–5+ years in investment acquisition, business development, retail expansion, or related roles.
- Experience in garments/fashion retail highly preferred.
- Proven track record of securing investors or funding for business growth.
Skills
- Strong communication & negotiation skills.
- Excellent investor pitching and presentation abilities.
- Financial modeling & investment analysis.
- Retail market knowledge (garments, fashion, shop-in-shop).
