INVESTOR RELATIONS OFFICER

Primary Purpose Of The Job

Ensure that Privatized Companies (Industries Qatar ("IQ"), Gulf International Services

("GIS"), Qatar Aluminium Manufacturing Company ("QAMCO") and Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding Company ("MPHC")) are able to fully discharge their extemal communications, disclosure obligations to shareholders, investors and government/regulatory authorities, and maintain an adequate public presence within the investing community, arrange physical and virtual meetings with current and potential investors.

Required Experience And Skills

At least 8-year experience in investor affairs/relations, management reporting, business

journalism, etc.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration with strong academic background. Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Economics and Finance is a plus.
• Advanced certificates in related field (CFA / CMA / CIIA etc.) is an advantage.
• At least 8 years of experience in investor relations activities, management reporting, business planning, corporate strategy or investment consulting. Corporate finance, investment banking, equity research are assets.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and being technically minded. Comfortable in understanding financial/performance terminologies. Detail-oriented, structured thinker with strong project management skills. Capacity to discreetly handle highly confidential and sensitive information.
• Advanced knowledge of applicable rules and regulations of Qatar Exchange, Qatar Financial Markets Authority and Qatar Commercial law.
• Proficient command of English, with Arabic an advantage. Demonstrable ability to transform financial performance details into investor-friendly messages.
