Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Investor Relations & Communication:
- Support the preparation of quarterly earnings materials, press releases, investor presentations, fact sheets, and annual reports.
- Coordinate investor meetings, conferences, earnings calls, and roadshows.
- Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with shareholders, institutional investors, and analysts.
- Monitor and report on investor sentiment, analyst coverage, and market perception.
Regulatory & Compliance:
- Ensure all disclosures and communications comply with DFM and SCA regulatory requirements.
- Support timely preparation and submission of corporate filings and governance reports.
- Work closely with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Corporate Communications teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of disclosed information.
Financial & Market Analysis:
- Track and analyze the company’s share performance, trading activity, and peer benchmarks.
- Review analyst reports and prepare summaries for senior management.
- Provide insights on market trends, sector performance, and investor expectations.
Internal & Management Support:
- Prepare briefing materials, Q&A documents, and talking points for senior management.
- Assist in compiling investor feedback and presenting key insights to the Head of IR and executive team.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the company’s IR strategy.
Key Interactions / Level of Accountability:
Internal: Business Units, Department Heads
External: Investment & Funds Institutions, Service Providers, Contractors, Local Authorities, Regulator, Investors
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline (IRO or professional certification is a plus).
Experience:
- Minimum 3-6 years post qualification experience with dealing with investors and a strong track record of creating positive relations with the investor community.
- Investor relations experience in a publicly traded company is a must.
Technical Competencies
- Experience in real estate, asset management, or listed companies in the UAE is preferred.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, financial statements, and valuation methodologies.
- Knowledge of DFM and SCA regulations is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Arab speaker preferred
