IOT Expert

Job Summary

The IoT Expert is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, primarily leveraging cloud-based platforms. The role encompasses end-to-end IoT architecture, including devices, sensors, firmware, cloud integration, data processing, and user-facing applications. The incumbent will lead IoT use case development from concept through production rollout, supporting digital transformation initiatives across industrial, construction, and smart city environments.

Responsibilities

§ Design and Development of IOT solutions preferably on Azure cloud platform

§ Research, build, test, and document state-of-the-art IoT solutions with integrated electronics and firmware development

§ Subject Matter Expert in IoT Software platform, sensors/device, and protocols

§ To design innovative IoT services that communicate with server-side technologies and develop Stack solutions wherever necessary.

§ Stake holder communication, fixing the issues, documentation, Development, testing and deployment process.

§ Exp with Azure PaaS services like Stream Analytics, Azure IoT hub, Event hub, Azure function app development.

§ Lead front end application development for IOT Use cases and Applications.

§ Researching and planning POCs on emerging technologies

§ Collaborate with backend, platform teams for development and troubleshooting.

§ Proficient in JavaScript and Experience in frontend technologies like Angular, Reacts.

§ charting libraries like high charts, charts, responsive UI

§ Restful API and Webservices and development experience in c sharp, / NodeJS, unit testing, and basic knowledge of DevOps process.

§ Experience with Cloud Native, Microservice, Container and Serverless technologies

Qualifications

§ Bachelor in IT or relevant.

§ Relevance will be reviewed and confirmed by ISD in line with technical competencies of applicant.

Experience

§ Overall 12 Years of Relevant consulting or industry experience, with proven ability to build relationships with business and technology leaders

§ Relevant experience in defining selection criteria for IOT Technology providers (platform, hardware, software/0 and identifying suitable use cases

§ Experience in designing IOT use cases and solution blueprints working with business users and taking them from concept to rollout.

§ Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

§ Creative problem-solving skills and excellent communication Skill.

§ Industry / Enterprise IoT experience would be a distinct advantage

§ Ability to create critical collaterals for workshops and interactive sessions

§ Experience in working in the Construction / Smart City / Industrial IOT projects is necessary

§ Past Experience with Big 4 consulting firms preferred
