IoT Integration Engineer

Responsibilities:

Device Installation & Field Integration

• Deploy and configure IoT devices (e.g. sensors, trackers, gateways) on client sites.
• Supervise the physical installation, calibration, antenna alignment, and signal testing.
• Handle on-site troubleshooting (power, connectivity, radio signal, firmware).

POC Setup & Management

• Plan and execute end-to-end POCs with clear KPIs and success metrics.
• Coordinate hardware delivery, installation, and network configuration for pilot projects.
• Prepare technical POC documentation and gather field performance feedback.

IoT Platform Configuration

• Onboard devices to IoT platforms (e.g. ChirpStack, Things Board or similar)
• Manage device provisioning (DevEUI, AppKey, ABP/OTAA), activation, and communication protocols.
• Set up dashboards, alerts, and data integrations (MQTT, HTTP, REST API).
• Monitor platform health, data flow, and telemetry accuracy.

Support & Coordination

• Liaise with hardware vendors, software developers, and project teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain documentation of installation procedures, test logs, and platform configurations.
• Support customer training and post-POC handover.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, and Mechatronics.
• 5 years of hands-on experience in IoT device installation and system integration.
• Solid understanding of LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, or LTE-M networks.
• Familiarity with IoT platforms like The Things Board, AWS/Azure IoT, or similar.
• Able to work with tools like RF signal testers, multimeters, and device configuration tools.
• Basic knowledge of IP networking, firewalls, and sensor calibration.
• Experience managing field rollouts for smart buildings, utilities, or fleet tracking.
• Exposure to MQTT, CoAP, or JSON-based API integrations.
