Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support for intellectual property matters, ensuring the smooth operation of legal processes, for which training will be provided. Your energetic approach and meticulous attention to detail will help us protect our innovative assets and maintain compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently assist with the preparation of responses to U.S. Office Actions, IP docket entries, and handling of correspondence.
- Assist with ensuring preparation of patent application documents and formal papers is timely executed.
- Proofread and file patent applications and Office Action responses.
- Handle incoming mail and email, and track deadlines.
- Manage client databases and status updates.
- Respond to client inquiries as instructed.
- Use MS Office and other firm applications and systems.
- Assist with client billing.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of related experience.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and ability to efficiently learn new software.
- Ability to effectively learn complex processes to navigate critical procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Effective and professional communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Willingness to occasionally work overtime if needed.
- Able to work in office three days per week - hybrid work environment.
Education:
- An equivalent combination of related education and/or experience.
- An associate degree or higher is ideal.
