As an “IP Network & Automation Part-Time Intern”, you will work side by side with network engineers & architects, software developers & architects in our local & international projects.

As part of our team, you will:

  • Support our team with the installation/commissioning/upgrade/integration of IP/MPLS routers & switches in the lab environment
  • Create lab topologies & documentation & support lab management activities.
  • Review & validate technical documents such as Method of Procedures (MoP).
  • Offer assistance to different activities like deployment, integration, migration/transformation, audit, acceptance tests etc.
  • Involve/support/develop network automation software projects, especially with Python language
  • Solve technical issues, troubleshoot and implement.

You have:

  • Current enrolment in a related BS (4th grade) Telecommunication/Electronics and Communication/Electrics and Electronics Engineering/Computer/Software Engineering etc.
  • Can join us for 3days (not less) in a week , have some flexibility considering exam periods.
  • Knowledge of IP/MPLS technologies & products (routers, switches etc.)
  • Script and automate in Python or similar languages
  • Domain know-how such as Routing & Switching, Mobile Networks, Data Center, Cloud Systems, Software Defined Networking etc.
  • Basic knowledge of Virtualisation technologies (Hypervisor, KVM, VMware etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems Redhat, Centos etc.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills in both English & Turkish.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Candidates with Nokia Service Routing Certification (SRC) are preferred; NRS1 certification & Upper level (NRS2 IRP, MPLS, Services etc.)
  • Multi-vendor (Cisco, Juniper, etc.) certification is an advantage
  • Hands-on experience with at least one of the software programming languages.
  • Exposure to an international environment
  • Self-motivated personality and eagerness to learn & grow & share!
