IP Paralegal [ Indian Patents Paralegal]

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Patents Paralegal to support our patent attorneys in managing Indian and international patent prosecution matters.

The role requires deep familiarity with procedures before the Indian Patent Office and the ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven filings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, file, and track Indian patent applications (provisional, complete, convention, and PCT national phase).
  • Assist in filing and tracking responses to FERs, oppositions, and hearing matters.
  • Maintain and update patent docketing systems and ensure all statutory deadlines are met.
  • Liaise with clients, inventors, and foreign associates regarding documentation, filings, and procedural updates.
  • Prepare and file Forms and monitor compliance.
  • Manage renewals, recordals, and post-grant formalities.
  • Coordinate with the Indian Patent Office on e-filing and application status queries.

Requirements:

  • Graduate in Law, Science, or Engineering.
  • Minimum 3–4 years of experience in Indian patent prosecution support.
  • Working knowledge of the Patents Act, 1970 and related rules.
  • Experience with patent docketing and IPMS tools.
  • Excellent drafting, organization, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
