IPRAN Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Back Office IP RAN Engineer to serve as the centralized technical authority for mobile backhaul network. This role focuses on high-level architecture, remote engineering, and capacity management, ensuring the stability and scalability of the IP RAN infrastructure from a central office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Centralized Configuration: Lead the remote end-to-end provisioning and configuration of Huawei RAN elements.
• Design & Planning: Develop and update High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLD/LLD) for the ISP access and aggregation layers.
• Traffic Engineering: Perform centralized network optimization and capacity planning to ensure efficient traffic flow across the backbone.
• Tier 3 Escalation: Act as the final technical authority for troubleshooting complex routing and VPN issues escalated by NOC or field teams.
• Protocol Management: Oversee the integrity of the routing domain, managing BGP, OSPF, and ISIS configurations centrally.

Required Skills

• Hardware: Extensive experience with Huawei ATN series and NE40 routers.
• Routing & VPN: Expert proficiency in OSPF, BGP, ISIS, MPLS, L2VPN, and L3VPN.
• Specialization: Strong background in ISP access and aggregation layers and Traffic Engineering.
• Certifications: Mandatory HCIA, HCIP, or CCNP SP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or Electronics Engineering.
• 5+ years of professional experience in IP RAN/Service Provider environments.
• Ability to manage complex technical documentation and remote delivery targets.
