Iranian/Persian Chef

We are seeking a passionate, creative, and highly skilled Iranian/Persian Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate should be master of Persian flavors—from the delicate art of Chelow and Tahdig to the complexity of slow-cooked Khoresh. You will blend deep-rooted tradition with modern innovation, ensuring every plate tells a story of authentic Persian heritage while meeting the standards of a high-end dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Culinary Excellence: Execute a sophisticated menu featuring traditional rice dishes, stews, and kebabs. Ensure every dish meets rigorous standards for authenticity, flavor profile, and visual artistry.
  • Menu Engineering: Design and refine seasonal menus that honor Persian history while introducing creative elements to appeal to a global, modern palate.
  • Operational Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse kitchen brigade. Oversee training on specialized Persian techniques, portion control, and high-volume consistency.
  • Quality & Consistency: Conduct daily quality checks on ingredients (saffron, barberries, etc.) to ensure peak freshness and premium taste.
  • Financial Stewardship: Manage inventory, reduce food waste, and optimize food costs without compromising the quality of the dining experience.
  • Safety & Compliance: Champion a culture of hygiene by strictly adhering to HACCP and local food safety regulations.

Requirements & QualificationsCategoryRequirementExperience3–5+ years as a Persian Specialty Chef in a luxury hotel or fine-dining setting.

Technical Skill: Mastery of Tandoor/Grill techniques and the science behind Persian rice preparation.

Language: Professional fluency in English

Flexibility: Readiness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
