Irrigation Draftsman with Engineering Background

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Draftsman with an Engineering background to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing precise irrigation shop drawings, technical documentation, and assisting the landscape team in the design and execution of irrigation systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate irrigation shop drawings, details, and as-built drawings in compliance with project standards and specifications. Coordinate with landscape architects, engineers, and site teams to ensure proper implementation of irrigation designs.
Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and material schedules related to irrigation systems. Ensure all drawings and documentation meet local authority regulations and project requirements.
Support the design team with technical inputs and engineering solutions. Revise and update drawings based on site conditions, client feedback, or design changes.
Maintain organized drawing records and ensure timely submission of deliverables.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in irrigation drafting and design, preferably in the UAE.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software. Good understanding of irrigation systems, pumps, and network layouts.
Knowledge of relevant authority standards and submission procedures in Abu Dhabi (e.g., ADM, ADDC). Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
