Irrigation Engineer

About the Role

Conduct pressure tests and hydraulic troubleshooting. Monitor water quality and improve irrigation efficiency. Prepare irrigation logs, water reports, pump performance reports. Audit Responsibilities. Independently develops and/or supervises the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements. This includes defining the problem, establishing the work scope, preparing the schedule, planning the work, providing technical direction, and reporting the work status. Typical products may include detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and detailed analyses. Provides support for other engineering activities as required. Supervise one or more subordinates and provide input regarding performance. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Inspect irrigation systems (drip, sprinkler, bubbler).

Qualifications

• B.Sc. Degree in mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of practical experiences.
• Dubai Municipality Approved engineer.

Required Skills

• Have full and complete knowledge of infrastructure Networks in the Dubai Emirate.
• Knowledge and work experience pipelines, connection Chambers and Pumping Station works, non-disruptive road crossings is required.
• Exceptional articulate communication skills both verbal and written.
• Experience advising client of best systems, materials, products and sustainability for irrigation/water feature systems.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft and CAD.
