Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering efficiency across diverse landscapes
• Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components, including valves, pipes, controllers, and sprinklers, to identify issues early
• Perform general lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration to maintain healthy turf and plantings
• Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment like excavators for system installation, repairs, and landscape enhancements
• Assist with landscape maintenance projects including planting, pruning, mulching, and soil preparation to support overall site health
• Follow safety protocols during all construction activities involving landscaping or irrigation equipment
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system modifications for ongoing service tracking

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems efficiently
• Experience with landscaping techniques including lawn care and general landscape maintenance
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators for installation and repairs
• Knowledge of horticulture principles to support healthy plant growth and landscape design
• Familiarity with irrigation systems, controllers, valves, pumps, and sprinkler heads
• Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints related to landscape construction projects
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks
