Irrigation Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in landscape maintenance, irrigation system installation, and lawn care. This role involves building, installing, and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens and landscapes.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties.
• Assess landscape needs to design effective irrigation solutions.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to dig trenches, install pipes, and set up sprinkler systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Collaborate with landscape teams to ensure proper integration of irrigation systems with overall landscape design.
• Provide recommendations for efficient water usage and maintenance practices to clients.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Experience

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or lawn care is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems and equipment is essential.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and irrigation installation.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
