Role Overview

The Horizon community is very special and much admired. A community that thrives on challenge, innovation, wellbeing and fun. As an Islamic Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students' learning journey in the classroom.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, imaginative, and energetic individual with a patient and nurturing approach. If you are passionate about education and eager to make a meaningful impact, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the teacher with classroom activities.
• Work closely with children on a one-to-one basis and in groups.
• Leading intervention groups.
• Helping to prepare enabling learning environments inside and outside that respond to the children's needs and interests.
• Model the HES Values in all language and interactions.
• Comply with and demonstrate an active commitment to safeguarding policies, procedures and code of conduct.
• Take a proactive and professional approach to school life and professional development.
• Undertake such duties as may reasonably be requested.

The Successful Candidate will have

• Bachelor Degree / Degree in Arabic/ Islamic Language is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills with a pleasant and confident manner.
• Experience working with children or in an educational environment is necessary.
