ISP / OSP Supervisor

Major Functions:

• Perform fiber tests with Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR), light source, and meters.
• Perform terminating, splicing, troubleshooting, and testing fiber optic equipment to company standards.
• Provide accurate equipment location, splicing, and terminating records for the fiber database.
• Install fiber optic cable to include both aerial and underground cable.
• Monitor contractor installations to ensure installations are meet with appropriate specifications, dB loss, and appropriately documented for the fiber database.
• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot fiber optic network and both dark fiber network and internal lit network.
• Ensures that time and materials are appropriately charged out to correct charge numbers.
• Assists with training, guiding, directing OSP Technicians.

Experience and Education

• DAE or FSc. With additional experience
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with a Telecom/Internet Service provider with hands on experience with the required technologies/equipment. At least 1-2 years of experience of working as a team lead
