IT-Application Analyst

Position: IT Application Analyst

Role Overview: Responsible for managing IT applications, ensuring smooth operations, coordinating with vendors for development and maintenance, handling support issues, and implementing disaster recovery strategies to maintain business continuity. Must have hands-on experience in handling Moodle LMS & ERP systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Application Development Management: Gather requirements from internal teams, analyze business needs, and liaise with outsourced vendors for development, ensuring feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and proper implementation of change requests (CRs).

2. Application Maintenance & Performance Monitoring: Oversee outsourced application maintenance, ensuring all applications function optimally, coordinating updates, patches, and resolving any performance issues.

3. Application Operations & User Support: Manage support tickets related to applications, engage with users to understand issues, troubleshoot problems, and coordinate with vendors for resolution while ensuring minimal disruptions.

4. User Role & Access Management: Design, implement, and review role-based access control (RBAC) policies across Moodle LMS, and Analytics systems. Ensure segregation of duties, approval workflows for access provisioning, periodic access audits, and compliance with security policies.

5. Data Management & Integration Oversight: Oversee data flow and integration between Moodle LMS, and Analytics platforms. Ensure data integrity, timely synchronization, and alignment with organizational reporting and decision-making needs.

6. Backup & Disaster Recovery Management: Ensure regular backups of applications, validate restore procedures, and define Recovery Point Objective (RPO) & Recovery Time Objective (RTO) to align with business needs.

7. Business Continuity Planning (BCP) for Applications: Develop and implement BCP strategies for applications, ensuring minimal downtime during disruptions, system failures, or cyber incidents.

8. Vendor & Cost Management: Evaluate vendor proposals, monitor service delivery, negotiate costs, and ensure the applications meet agreed service levels and business requirements.

9. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure application compliance with security and operational policies, maintain proper documentation for system changes, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.

10. Training & Adoption Support: Facilitate onboarding, training sessions, and workshops for end-users to ensure effective use of Moodle LMS, and Analytics tools.

Candidate Specification:

Educational Qualification

B.Tech/BE in IT/Computer Science with 5+ years of experience in

Years of Experience

5-6 years of experience in IT application development and operations

Technical Skills

· Application development coordination, support ticket handling, and vendor management

· System performance monitoring, patch management, backup, and disaster recovery planning

· Role-based access control (RBAC), access provisioning, and IT security compliance

· Data integration oversight across ERP, LMS, and Analytics platforms with focus on data integrity

· Documentation, user training, SLA tracking, and support for application adoption and compliance

Job Specifications:

Hours Of Work: 6 days, 8 hours; 2 Saturdays off every month in addition to the regular weekly off on Sundays
