Customs Compliance Manager

We are seeking a senior dynamic person, who is passionate about gaining core knowledge in supporting clients and our experienced customs staff personnel within this high demand industry sector.

You should be passionate about supporting our importing / exporting clients from Ireland, in EU plus US Customs Tariff Strategy.

Excellent experience in US customs clearances and notifications, in compliance with US regulations and Tariff developments. Core understanding of US HTS, EU Taric and non-preferential origin for duty calculations.

You will have professional business English, and mature outlook to liaise with key Irish supporting partners.

• Experience in Supply Chain and US Customs compliance.
• Analyse client concerns by highlighting issues and dealing with any queries.
• Research Customs duty updates to satisfy client compliance requirements.
• Respond to client queries and assist in compiling client procedures /SOPs.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
• Work on own initiative to research the latest US Customs updates.
• Operations / Administration experience gained in a logistics environment.
• Experienced with US import clearances processes and clearance Software.

Summary

You will be integral to ensuring adherence to customs regulations and optimizing logistics processes. Reporting to the Senior Management, your core skills in negotiation and sales management will be essential in navigating complex customs requirements.

Your expertise in supply chain logistics will enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Office and organizational skills will support data entry and sales support tasks. • Reciprocal Tariffs - duties optimisation: 3 years (Preferred)
• UK Non Pref Origin rules for US imports: 3 years (Preferred)
• active use of Grok, Claude, ChatGPT, etc: 2 years (Preferred)
