IT Application Analyst Intern, AWS

DESCRIPTION

Amazon internships across all seasons are full-time positions, and interns should expect to work in office, Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week typically between 8am-5pm. Specific team norms around working hours will be communicated by your manager. Interns should not have conflicts such as classes or other employment during the Amazon work-day.

Applicants should have a minimum of one quarter/semester/trimester remaining in their studies after their internship concludes. You will be able to provide your preference of location and start date during the application process but, we cannot guarantee that we can meet your selection based on several factors including but not limited to the availability and business needs of this role. Finalization on the location and start dates available will be provided to you at the time of job offer.

As an IT Application Analyst Intern you will develop and maintain applications that deliver critical capabilities from design inception through site improvement and maintenance. You will capture and clearly articulate requirements and work closely with stakeholders in order to prioritize different working items. You will establish implementation capabilities and limitations, performance requirements and interfaces for the end-user solution. You will have the opportunity to help implement customer projects, ensuring timely and efficient communication and solutions are delivered to plan.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
  • Knowledge of AWS services
  • Are enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, computer engineering, or related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
  • Experience in an operational environment developing, fast-prototyping, piloting and launching analytic products

The starting pay for this position is listed below. Final starting pay will be based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
