General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
The IT Application Engineer will support ERP and business application implementations, focusing on SAP and integrated enterprise systems. This role involves working with stakeholders, assisting in large-scale or multi-site projects, and ensuring successful adoption and optimization of ERP solutions.

Support SAP and ERP system implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.

Gather and analyze business and technical requirements in collaboration with internal teams and external consultants.

Assist in business process optimization, documentation, and end-user training to ensure successful system adoption.

Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide post-go-live support for ERP applications.

Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and consultants to manage project deliverables and timelines.

Support integration between ERP, CRM, finance, and other enterprise systems.

Assist in project management activities including planning, scheduling, and tracking progress for ERP initiatives.

Provide knowledge transfer to junior IT/ERP engineers.

Ensure compliance with quality, security, and operational standards.

Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant ERP/SAP certifications are a plus.

5–10+ years of experience in ERP/SAP system implementation, configuration, and lifecycle management.

Strong project management skills, preferably with experience in large-scale, multi-site, or global projects.

Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and cross-functional collaboration.

Familiarity with CRM systems and ERP integration.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently in a dynamic environment.
