IT Asset Administrator 3

Are you an ITAM professional looking for a career with a stable, mission-driven organization? Then we may have the role for you! Ohio Public Employees Retirement System is seeking to add an IT Asset Administrator 3 to our IT Business Office team.

What You’ll Do

This senior-level role oversees the analysis, planning, and administration of the IT Asset Management (ITAM) program. The position ensures policies and procedures align with industry standards and organizational strategy. It involves close collaboration with asset owners, architects, administrators, security, and project teams to manage OPERS assets effectively. The role also includes mentoring IT Asset Admin staff, contributing to annual IT budget planning, monitoring expenditures, and coordinating IT asset procurement with the Procurement team.

What You’ll Bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, 8 total years of experience is required.
  • Procurement and asset management experience.
  • Experience with enterprise asset management tools like Flexera, Snow, or ServiceNow.
  • Budget and finance experience.
  • Experience successfully managing projects while working across multiple teams and departments.
  • ITAM Industry Recognized certification is preferred.
  • Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
  • The ability to take initiative and be self-directed in your work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
